Who writes and checks this site
Babypercentiles is written and checked by the Babypercentiles editorial team, publishing as Urban Algorithm LLC. We are not clinicians, we do not claim a clinical credential, and we do not need one, because this site publishes no clinical judgement of any kind. What it publishes is arithmetic on two public datasets, plus writing that explains that arithmetic. The authority this page stands on is the verification process below and the fact that every figure traces to a named agency file.
What this site deliberately does not do
It does not assess, diagnose, or screen anything. It offers no feeding guidance, no growth targets, no interpretation of a pattern, and no opinion about whether a measurement is a good one. Percentiles describe position in a reference population, not health; growth patterns are for your pediatrician to read. Every page that shows a result carries that note, and the tool is built so that it hands you a chart rather than a verdict.
For growth and development questions, the destination is your child's clinician. The CDC growth chart pages publish the underlying charts and technical notes.
How the data is sourced
Every growth curve on this site is computed from parameter tables downloaded directly from the publishing agency: the WHO Child Growth Standards tables from who.int, and the CDC 2000 Growth Charts data file from cdc.gov. The L, M and S values are reproduced exactly as published, with no rounding, smoothing, or re-fitting, and the exact file URL and the date we downloaded it are recorded next to every table. We do not reprint a third party's compiled version of an agency table.
Percentiles are computed from those parameters at the moment they are shown, in your browser for the tool and at build time for the reference pages, so there is no intermediate hand-typed number anywhere for a typo to live in. The reference tables page publishes the parameter tables in full, so any figure on this site can be checked against its source by hand.
Every page carries an updated date. Published facts go back into a review
queue after 90 days rather than being left to rot, and a
page whose facts have moved is corrected rather than quietly left standing.

The newest verified fact on this site is dated . This date is computed from the site's own content, not hardcoded, and moves automatically as pages get re-verified.
