Terms of Use

Effective 2026-08-28

Babypercentiles is a free, independent growth-curve visualization published by Urban Algorithm LLC. By using the site you agree to these plain terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This is not medical advice

This is the term that matters most, so it comes first. Babypercentiles publishes a visualization of two public reference datasets and writing that explains the statistics behind them. It is educational and informational only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a screening tool, and not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional who knows your child. Nothing on this site establishes any clinician relationship of any kind.

Percentiles describe position in a reference population, not health. Growth patterns are for your pediatrician to read. Never delay seeking or disregard professional advice because of something you read or plotted here. If you have any concern about your child's growth, development, or wellbeing, contact your child's clinician.

The tools are free and provided as-is

Every tool on this site is free to use, with no account, no signup, and no payment. The tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we do not guarantee they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Results depend on the measurement you enter

The chart is exact arithmetic on published parameters, but it can only be as good as the number you feed it. Home measurement is difficult, especially for infant length and head circumference, and a small measurement error can move a percentile a long way. Treat any result as a visualization of the number you typed, not as a measurement of your child.

We are independent

Babypercentiles is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Academy of Pediatrics, or any government agency. We reproduce publicly published reference tables and cite them, and we describe official recommendations for reference only. The WHO and CDC names appear here to identify the source of the data, never to imply a relationship.

Acceptable use

Please use the site for lawful, personal, and educational purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, misuse it to harm others, or scrape it in a way that degrades service for other visitors. The site's original text, design, and code are the property of Urban Algorithm LLC; the underlying WHO and CDC datasets are published by those agencies and remain subject to their own terms, which are linked wherever the data is used.

The site links to third-party resources, including who.int and cdc.gov. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites and services.
